Professional Callus Treatment
Callus is very similar to dry skin, but more aggressive and in more focused areas of the feet.
My treatment will be to remove the callus with a scalpel and bur the area to make it smooth. This is the most effective and painless method of removing callus keeping it away for at least 6 weeks.
Why does Callus come back?
Callus is an environmental problem. It's biggest contributor is how you walk, which is not an easy problem to fix so even after treatment after a few weeks of walking again it will begin to build back up.
Of course, insoles and orthopaedics could help, but the most common treatment is regular removal.
